History of Our Firm
Harry Herzog and David Carp worked at different firms but had known each other professionally and personally for fifteen years. Throughout their friendship, each respected the other’s intelligence, work ethic and results.
Finally in 2002, the stars aligned and they decided to combine their talents and go into business together. Deciding to become partners was easy, the hard part was choosing whose name would appear first on the firm’s letterhead. Both men are competitive, so it was quickly determined that there was only one fair way to resolve this issue — a tennis match. Though it was a heated contest, Harry narrowly edged out David. As a result, Herzog & Carp was born.
Harry met Lauren McCollum (now Ondrej) through on-campus interviews at Baylor Law School and she was hired months before her graduation. Next to Harry and David, Lauren is the best thing to happen to Ondrej Herzog & Carp. Her intelligence and abilities have been complimented by clients and opponents repeatedly. Lauren is now a named partner of the firm.
Since the very beginning, the lawyers at Ondrej Herzog & Carp have been protecting our clients by trying cases and arguing appeals. David unfortunately passed in 2020, but his energy has not left Ondrej Herzog & Carp.
